2. Here you will get an option data and storage usage,

-when using mobile data 

• when you will click on it you will get more options like photos,videos etc.
• Un-select All of them to stop automatic downloading.

As like that you can select this setting also for "Wi-Fi" just click mobile and data usage and Un-Select all medias that you don't want to auto download.
